The unicorn is a good size; the glow in the dark feature is what drew me to the toy to offer my toddler some comfort at night. However, I wish I just went for the toy and not the whole package that included the torch as it requires button batteries which I definitely will not be using. In 2025 I don’t understand why any company producing children’s toys would use button batteries regardless it being secured by a single screw; just not worth the risk.

At the moment, Glimmer is only available as part of the set rather than on her own, but we completely understand your thoughts around the torch. Safety is something we take very seriously, and all of our products (including the torch) go through rigorous safety testing and fully comply with the required country safety standards.

We’re also actively exploring alternative torch options that use different battery types for future releases, while continuing to prioritise safety, quality, and a comforting experience for little ones.

It’s no understatement to say that Glimmer has been game-changing for us at bedtime! We’ve had a longstanding battle getting our (extremely strong-willed) daughter to settle without the lights on in her room. We were going through the same rigmarole every night – trying to explain to her that we need darkness to make us sleepy, but the minute we’d leave the room she’d put her lights back on and be wide awake 🙄

She is a huge fan of cuddly toys, so when I saw that Glimmer was a cuddly friend who may also help her settle in a darker room, I was sold. Though it has to be said, I was skeptical that it would work for us, because nothing else had!

When my daughter opened the box (which was a treat itself – such gorgeous packaging!) she immediately fell for Glimmer and declared her cuddles ‘the best ever’. And, to my amazement, that very first night she was encouraged by the promise of Glimmer’s glow to LEAVE HER LIGHTS OFF. And she actually went to sleep quickly and with zero fuss!

I thought “it must be a fluke”, but we are now a week in and the same thing has happened every single night. We don’t even have to persuade her!

Sorry for the long review, but I really wanted other parents to understand that Glimmer
is so much more than just another teddy. I think she might actually be magic! ✨

I bought this as a Christmas present for my daughter and it arrived very quickly. Really nicely packaged and better than I expected.

Bedtime favourite! Glimmer looks even better in person and the glow is so comforting. A beautiful gift for any unicorn fan.
